Advocacy and Resources for Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities

The Arc of Jefferson County is a non-profit organization who believes all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have strengths , abilities and value. Established in 1966, we provide summer camp and recreational  activities for children and adults with special needs for Jefferson County, DuBois and surrounding areas.

Camp Friendship is an eight acre camp offering a quiet retreat from everyday life. There are two buildings, one of which offers a full kitchen and the other has classrooms for crafting and music. There is a beautiful fenced in pond, picnic area with large pavilion, outdoor fireplace, and a small playground area
